A primary guideline, steeped in Jewish tradition but alive and well to this day, lies at the heart of JDC-MAZS Foundation activity – every single Jew is responsible for the destiny of every other Jew! The foundation on which the support system rests is a tailor-made service package designed to meet the specific needs of the person or family receiving it. In the course of a year we are able to give this type of help to nearly 6,000 people. Our community-building programs and projects are flexible and creative, openly demonstrating our commitment to one another and the community and they have been internationally recognized. Our colorful and diverse palette of tasks focuses on three principal areas – Social Support, Community Building, and General Humanitarian Assistance. Our activities overlap and penetrate to the depths of our projects as we work to achieve the goals of our mission.
